ITACE AB: Senior Profile

I founded ITACE AB in 2021 to provide consulting services with a focus on Oracle database technologies.

Regarding availability: In December 2024, I ended an approximately 10-year assignment as an Oracle DBA and developer so I can focus on developing my skills in Python, machine learning and PostgreSQL.

I am currently not accepting assignments as a pure operational Oracle DBA. My hope is for future assignments in development within SQL, PL/SQL, performance optimization, application upgrades and data migration.

Plan to be finished with my skills increase by August 2026 and then accept new consulting assignments.

My Background – A Strategic Foundation

I have over 30 years of experience in the IT industry with a great interest in Oracle databases and other Oracle tools. My foundation is based on performance, database migrations, upgrades.

During my long experience, I have developed in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, C#, C and also some Linux/Unix bash scripts.

I have experience working in operating systems such as Unix, Linux, AIX, Solaris and Microsoft Server.

My Industry experience: spans several sectors such as banking, insurance, energy, nuclear power, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and government tax authorities.

The Transition: My Future Focus

After more than two decades of successful work with Oracle database technologies, I am now expanding my skills to meet new demands with open source and modern data architectures.

Current educational focus: My curriculum includes Python, AI/machine learning and PostgreSQL. Future niche: This change strengthens me and ITACE AB as a company to consult on the integration of established Oracle systems with modern data stacks with my focus and interest in development, data migration and DBA assignments.
